Climb Above Fear is completely dedicated to helping people with a fear of heights—a condition also known as acrophobia. We know very well that this phobia can hinder your ability to live a normal life, and can impact on aspects from travel and hobbies to work and family life. Right now, it’s all too common to suffer in silence. We want to help to get people talking and to overcome their fear of heights once and for all.
The Climb Above Fear Programme is a step-by-step programme consisting of six sessions with a dedicated phobia therapist. Each session is one hour long. You can choose how the sessions are broken up, though we generally recommend taking one hour per week. During each session, you’ll discuss your fear of heights in detail and get personalised advice. You’ll also gain access to additional resources created by the Climb Above Fear team.
All of Climb Above Fear’s therapy sessions are provided through our sister site ManageMinds, using professional therapists we know and trust, and who are members of bodies such as BACP, UKCP or the National Counselling Society. What’s more, we hand-pick therapists with a specific focus on the treatment of phobias, so you can be sure that you’ll get the help you need from the people who are best equipped to provide it.
